Japanese Bilingual Paralegal (N.Y. Office)
This position (full-time or part-time) is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning U.S. Immigration law and working in a small, collegial environment. We are seeking a well organized, detailed oriented person with good communication and writing skills, and the ability to work independently and in an office environment. Proficiency in Japanese is highly preferred.
Self-starting, an independent thinker, and easy to work with the highest work ethic. Like to learn and can quickly digest new information. Can handle and effectively work simultaneously with a high-volume case load. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in English and Japanese. Organized and has good attention to detail. An articulate and creative writer. Some experience in immigration law preferred but not necessary.

- Previous experience with a law firm is preferred but not required.
- We are open to hiring and training a candidate without experience depending on their qualifications and “fit” with our firm.
- Position is initially part time (15-20 hours per week) and can become full time.
