After passing two temporary spending measures, Congress has passed two bills that will fund the federal government through fiscal year (FY) 2020, which ends on September 30, 2020. The bills include funding for immigration operations.
E-Verify, the Conrad 30 waiver program, and the special immigrant non-minister religious worker program were extended without changes through the end of FY 2020. The EB-5 Regional Center program for foreign investors was reauthorized without changes through the end of FY 2020.
With the passing of these two bills – which are expected to be signed into law by President Trump – there will be no interruption of federal immigration operations.
