On July 31, 2020, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a final rule that adjusts fees for certain immigration and naturalization benefit requests. The final rule is effective October 2, 2020. Any application, petition, or request postmarked on or after this date is required to include payment that matches the adjusted fees reflected in the final rule.
Below are the some of the important fee adjustments that are related to our firm’s practice:
I-129: Instead of a flat fee of $460 for all I-129s:
- L-1: $805
- H-1B: $555
- E-1/E-2/TN: $695
- O: $705
I-539: $400
I-131: $590
I-765 (non-DACA): $550
I-140: $555
Non-DACA biometric: $30
I-485: $1,130
USCIS Immigrant Fee: $190
N-400: $1,170
