米国移民局（USCIS）より、新規H-1Bビザの申請登録に関する発表がありました。注目すべき点は以下の通りです。
- 2024年度の新規H-1Bビザの初回申請登録の期間は、米国東海岸時間の2023年3月1日正午から2023年3月17日正午までの予定です。
- H-1Bビザ申請における雇用主（またはその代理人）は、myUSCISアカウントを通して新規H -1B申請者（受益者）に関する情報を登録し、受益者ごとに、登録費用にかかる10ドルを支払う必要があります。
- 3月17日までに新規H-1年間発給上限数以上の登録があった場合、無作為の抽選が実施され、当選発表は雇用主（または代理人）のそれぞれのmyUSCISアカウントを通して通知されます。
例年、H-1Bビザ発給枠の約5倍の申請登録が行われています。抽選の当落は、3月1日に登録しようと3月17日に登録しようと、申請登録のタイミングで左右することはありません。

米国移民局は、2024年度の新規H-1Bビザの初回申請登録期間を、米国東海岸時間の2023年3月1日正午から3月17日正午までとすることを発表しました。この期間中、雇用主（または代理人）は、オンラインのH-1Bビザ申請登録システムを使用して、申請者に関する情報を登録・提出することができます。
2024年度新規H-1Bビザの申請登録が完了すると、確認番号が付与されます。この番号は、登録状況を追跡するためにのみ使用されます。この番号を使用してCase Status Online上でケース状況を確認することはできません。
H-1Bビザの申請登録を行う雇用主（または代理人）は、myUSCISアカウントから各申請者に関する情報をオンライン登録し、申請者ごとに登録料10ドルを支払うことが義務付けられています。申請登録を行う者（米国雇用主および米国代理人、以下総称して「登録者」）は、「登録者」アカウントを使用します。登録者が新しいアカウントを作成することができるのは、米国東海岸時間の2月21日正午からです。
登録者はいつでも自身のアカウントに申請者を追加登録することができますが、申請者の情報を入力し、登録料10ドルを支払って登録を完了できるのは、3月1日以降です。登録者は、同時に複数の申請者を登録することができます。最終的な支払いと提出を行う前に、各登録の下書き、編集、保存も、このアカウント上から行うことができます。
3月17日までに十分な数の登録があった場合、無作為に抽選が行われ、登録者のmyUSCISアカウントに当選発表の通知が送信されます。登録が一定の数に満たない場合は、初回登録期間に適切に提出されたすべての登録が承認されます。当落は、3月31日までに各アカウントに通知される予定です。
米国財務省は、2024年度のH-1Bビザ登録シーズンに向けて、1日当たりのクレジットカード取引限度額を24,999.99ドルから39,999.99ドルへ一時的に引き上げることを承認しました。この一時的な引き上げは、過去のH-1B申請登録において、1日当たりのクレジットカード限度額を超える費用を要する登録があったことを受けたものです。 追加情報は、初回登録期間が開始する前に発表されます。
H-1Bビザの申請（上級学位免除対象者の申請を含む）は、H-1B申請書に記載された申請者の登録がH-1B申請登録で当選した雇用主のみ提出することができます。

We received the following from USCIS regarding the H-1b registration. Highlights include the following.
- The initial registration period for the fiscal year 2024 H-1B cap will open at noon Eastern on March 1 and run through noon Eastern on March 17, 2023.
- Prospective H-1B cap-subject petitioners or their representatives are required to use a myUSCIS online account to register each beneficiary electronically for the selection process and pay the associated $10 H-1Bregistration fee for each registration submitted on behalf of each beneficiary.
- If USCIS receives enough registrations by March 17, we will randomly select registrations and send selection notifications via users’ myUSCIS online accounts
In prior years, USCIS has received about 5 times the number of slots available. Note that filing on March 1st as opposed to March 17th will not increase your chances of selection.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced that the initial registration period for the fiscal year 2024 H-1B cap will open at noon Eastern on March 1 and run through noon Eastern on March 17, 2023. During this period, prospective petitioners and representatives will be able to complete and submit their registrations using our online H-1B registration system.
We will assign a confirmation number to each registration submitted for the FY 2024 H-1B cap. This number is used solely to track registrations; you cannot use this number to track your case status in Case Status Online.
Prospective H-1B cap-subject petitioners or their representatives are required to use a myUSCIS online account to register each beneficiary electronically for the selection process and pay the associated $10 H-1Bregistration fee for each registration submitted on behalf of each beneficiary. Prospective petitioners submitting their own registrations (U.S. employers and U.S. agents, collectively known as “registrants”) will use a “registrant” account. Registrants will be able to create new accounts beginning at noon Eastern on Feb. 21.
Representatives may add clients to their accounts at any time, but both representatives and registrants must wait until March 1 to enter beneficiary information and submit the registration with the $10 fee. Prospective petitioners or their representatives will be able to submit registrations for multiple beneficiaries in a single online session. Through the account, they will be able to prepare, edit, and store draft registrations prior to final payment and submission of each registration.
If we receive enough registrations by March 17, we will randomly select registrations and send selection notifications via users’ myUSCIS online accounts. If we do not receive enough registrations, all registrations that were properly submitted in the initial registration period will be selected. We intend to notify account holders by March 31.
The U.S. Department of Treasury has approved a temporary increase in the daily credit card transaction limit from $24,999.99 to $39,999.99 per day for the FY 2024 H-1B cap season. This temporary increase is in response to the volume of previous H-1B registrations that exceeded the daily credit card limit. Additional information will be provided before the start of the initial H-1B registration period.
An H-1B cap-subject petition, including a petition for a beneficiary who is eligible for the advanced degree exemption, may only be filed by a petitioner whose registration for the beneficiary named in the H-1B petition was selected in the H-1B registration process.
